THE OPPORTUNITY

As Head 3rd Party Plasma (EU) you will develop strategies for plasma procurement from non-US third-party suppliers. You will ensure supplier compliance with contracts and Takeda policies, and align plasma suppliers with internal stakeholders (e.g., Logistics, Quality, Regulatory). Your contribution will include providing expertise and assistance in lobbying efforts, policy development, etc.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Identify non-US plasma sourcing opportunities to meet PDT objectives.

• Negotiate and manage plasma contracts, ensuring supplier and internal compliance.

• Maintain strong knowledge of plasma market trends, pricing, suppliers, and competition.

• Ensure adherence to European and international plasma policies and regulations.

• Provide QA support for BioLife EU, including audits, compliance with GMP, and plasma storage checks.

• Prepare monthly supply forecasts and volume/price data for financial planning.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in the plasma or blood banking industry.

• Understanding of plasma market dynamics, including pricing, suppliers, availability, industry trends, and competition.

• Understanding of EMA regulatory environment.

• Strategic mindset.

• Excellent negotiation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Fluent in English and German
