FINANCE Compliance transformation manager
Location: Zug, Switzerland (preferred); Leiden, Netherlands ; Beerse, Belgium ; Prague, Czechia
Contract: full time, permanent
As part of the Innovative Medecine Risk & Advisory team, your mission will be to apply your risk & compliance expertise to support the organization in its portfolio of key projects and transformations initiatives.
Acting as a strategic business partner, you will act as the centre of excellence for all internal controls and risk inquiries, provide guidance and support your organization in establishing best in class harmonized processes.
You will lead critical compliance related initiatives and ensure new processes are fully integrated in the Innovative Medicine Princial Operations organisazion.
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
TRANSFORMATION SUPPORT
Provide expert guidance to the finance team during digital and process transformation initiatives
Proactively identifies operational and financial Risks + proposes adequate and efficient Controls to mitigate gaps.
Recommends actions to improve accounting and operational procedures and internal controls.
Develops and successfully implements frameworks for monitoring and reporting on the progress and effectiveness of transformation effectiveness
PROJECT LEADERSHIP
Take the lead on critical compliance projects, from planning through to execution and evaluation
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure alignment and support for compliance projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met and well integrated in the organization planning.
Ensure all financial transformation initiatives and projects comply with applicable laws and regulations and industry standards
Ensures full alignment with management & creates strong business partnerships between all stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness across the finance organization
Qualifications
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:
Existing or willing to obtain recognized accounting qualification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Corporate Internal Audit),
Bachelor’s degree in Finance
A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, of which 2 years in “Big 4” company.
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts.
Experience of accessing internal controls and communicating findings to a range of stakeholders.
Transformation and project related assignments ideally from a compliance standpoint
Skills - IT/Language/Other
Fluency in English plus another European language.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of JDE systems preferred.
