Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to support the Boeing Zhoushan Delivery Center in Zhoushan, China.

Position Overview:

This role will be releasing aircraft and preforming QMS oversight activities site wide. This manager will be reporting to a senior quality manager supporting site activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • WillmakeAircraftReleasesasaPart125AMTonbehalfofthecompanyandregulatory agencies.

  • PerformingasanApplicantforODARecurrentTicketingactivitiesforthe737MAXaircraft.

  • Managesemployeeswhoevaluateandensurethatproducts,servicesandprocesses comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.

  • Provideseducation,coachingandreviewofQualityManagementSystem.

  • Developsandmaintainsrelationships,partnershipsandcommunicationwithcustomers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

  • Developsandexecutesbusinessplans,policiesandproceduresanddevelops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.

  • Manages,developsandmotivatesemployee.

  • Thispositionisexpectedtobe100%onsite.Theselectedcandidatewillberequiredtoworkonsite.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+years’experienceinaleadershiproleleadingdiverseteams,initiatives,orprojectsto meet business objectives and influence change

  • 3+yearsofexperienceforreleasingaircraftforflight,maintaining air worthiness in accordance to the policies and procedures.

  • MusthaveacurrentFAAAirframeandPowerplant(A&P)Licenseandavailableon request.

  • AviationFlightLineexperience.

  • Willingtoworkvariableshifts,includingweekendsandovertime.

  • Must speak, read, and write English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+yearsofexperienceworkingonthe737Program.

  • 3yearsofexperienceworkingdirectlywithcustomers.

  • Experiencewithflightlineactivities.

  • ExperienceworkinginaPart121,Part125and/orPart 145.

  • CQS,Records,and/orARLexperience

  • ExperienceworkingasanODAmemberand/orTicketingApplicant.

  • 737NG/MAXGeneralFamiliarization“GenFam”class

Relocation:

  • Thispositionoffers one time relocationbasedoncandidateeligibility.

  • This is a local hire role in China. Base benefits and pay are determined in line with local labor market practices.
