Job Description: As a Therapy Development Manager , you will coordinate and optimize activities in implanting centers and referral sites within your area. Your goal is to present Abbott as the ideal long-term partner in heart surgery and cardiology while developing inpatient and outpatient heart failure referral programs. You will achieve regional sales and strategy targets autonomously, identifying and generating sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls. Additionally, you will assess heart failure business and market development opportunities to drive sales and provide field support for marketing and sales initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships.

  • Regular visits to customers to ensure satisfaction and recognize new business opportunities.

  • Open and establish new implanting centers.

  • Promote Abbott Heart Failure products, clinical results, and services.

  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely renewals.

  • Manage inventory and training needs.

  • Provide multi-center therapy and product presentations independently.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

  • Develop market strategies and execute them.

  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to develop account intelligence and relationship maps.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of four years of experience in a clinical setting providing acute or outpatient care to patients with cardiovascular diseases.

  • Two years of heart failure knowledge preferred.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in managing sales regions/territories.

  • Excellent negotiation skills and success in driving sales.

  • Advanced product and industry knowledge.

  • Superior communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.

  • Strong presentation skills, both online and offline.

  • Proficient in solution selling and relationship building.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Language requirement: Proficiency in English, French AND/OR Dutch.
