Abbott Senior Financial Analyst in Zaventem, Belgium
For our Heart Failure (HF) Division, we are recruiting a (Senior) Financial Analyst Emerging Markets to be based in our EMEA HQ in Zaventem Belgium.
The Senior Financial Analyst position is a critical role to provide strategic and finance support to the Emerging Markets commercial team through financial analysis as well as business decision and ensure the financial success of the business unit.
It includes sales- and margin reporting, SG&A cost reporting & analysis, consolidation of large & complex data sets, ad-hoc data analysis as well as systematic data support.
In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst acts as a true business partner to the MEATR (Middle East & Africa & Turkey) regional leadership team.
This position will report to the Regional Controller HF Emerging Markets and have significant interaction with the HF Emerging Markets Management team, the cluster commercial teams, CFS, EMEA Area HQ and all other HF functions that support the business on a continuous basis.
Your Profile:
· Master’s degree in finance, economics or a related field or equivalent in experience
· Related experience in the medical device or life sciences industry advantageous
· At least 3 years’ experience in a similar function in an international corporate environment
· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong business partnering skills and commercial business acumen
· Accounting knowledge (GAAP)
· Self-motivated and pro-active, setting high standards for success.
· Team player within a matrix organisation design
· High accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
· Expertise in Excel, PowerBI and another established data-cube system (Hyperion, Dodeca, etc.)
· Good experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase systems preferred.
· Fluency in English
