Oracle Software Developer Engineer in Test (C#) in ZAPOPAN, Mexico

Job Description

.NET team is responsible for Oracle on prem and cloud database integration with Microsoft .NET platform. The .NET components and tools include Oracle Data Provider for .NET and .NET Core with multi-clouds support, Entity Framework Core, Oracle Developer Tool for VS Code integrated with AI features, Oracle Developer Tool for Visual Studio .NET and ASP .NET and .NET Core. Our primary goal is to test and configure these components and tools by developing automated tests to ensure the correct functionality and optimal performance from the individual API/UI to the integrated solutions.

By covering such a broad spectrum, .NET team is in a unique strategic position to gain firsthand experience of the entire stack of the latest Oracle technologies. During the process of testing, you will acquire deep knowledge of the Oracle on prem and cloud database, Multi-clouds support integrated with Azure, .NET Core and most popular Microsoft IDE tools integrated with AI

Job Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Strong database concepts/experience

  • Strong programming skill in C#, C++, or JavaScript

  • Working experience with Windows and/or Linux and/or MacOS platforms

  • Experience with Network authentication protocols (OAuth 2, Kerberos, and LDAP/AD) is a plus

  • Good communication skills and inter-person skills.

  • Good English communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills; willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Self-motivated and good team player

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with UI automation testing is a plus

  • Experience with .NET/Net Core programing is a plus

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
