Oracle Senior Business Analyst in ZAPOPAN, Mexico

Assists with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, operational changes, or process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Great communication and presentation skills, with ability to organize and present technical material in a way that is easy to understand by non-technical audience.

  • Process and detail oriented

  • Driven and self-motivated

  • Great writing and documentation skills

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, agile framework, database concepts, and project management using Agile development methodologies, data workflows, application design

  • Knowledge on NetSuite platform components such as SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBuilders etc.

  • Data analysis and visualization using SQL, SuiteAnalytics building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Bonus points for experience implementing CRM, ERP, or any other IT solution.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, effective time management, meeting facilitation, stakeholder analysis, and risk identification and mitigation.

  • Ability to proactively contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Passion for and ability to understand customer needs.

  • Ability to lead and work with globally distributed teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or any related field.

  • English is required

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Come up with proposal for process improvements, data clean up, and designs for new solutions based on best practices and industry standards.

  • NetSuite familiarity or experience is a plus.

  • Work with the customer and be capable of understanding how the product works, and get high-level knowledge on how it was built (what technology was used ie: saved search, 3rd integration, in-house automation)

  • Educate and collaborate with the internal departments/stakeholders.

  • Streamline technological processes to make them more efficient.

  • Train and mentor peers on existing technologies and solutions

  • Analyze customer's pain points and bridge the gap between the customers and the development team.

  • Evaluating business processes, as well as anticipating, and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.

  • Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.

  • Communicating ideas and viewpoints to senior management.

  • Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.

  • Performing requirements analysis for approved initiatives.

  • Managing projects, developing project plans, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring timely completion of projects and oversee implementation.

  • Conducting meetings, presentations, and ongoing reviews of projects updates.

  • Facilitating a shared understanding of the problem, the possible solutions, and the scope of the project.

  • Managing the backlog and prioritizing requests by making smart decisions using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
