OBJECTIVE

The Business Analyst II will be an adjoining member of the business analysts team who are ultimately responsible for helping the business grow by understanding customer’s needs, provide support to various internal partners of the business and collaborate with technology partners to develop business applications that meet those needs and are aligned with IGT’s business goals.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent and communicate product strategy and vision in line with the businesses long-term goals to both internal and external partners

  • Develop complete understanding of customers product needs

  • Work with the Technology teams to bring roadmap items to the market

  • Provide know-how and problem-solving advice to commercial and product marketing teams engaging with prospective customers, throughout the sales cycle

  • Product / project lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of product(s).

  • Conducts meetings with business users and customers to collect requirements for projects, new features or improvements

  • Plan and implement delivery of sophisticated sales process and commercial projects

  • Support cross-functional project plans that include scope definition, schedules, customer identification, resourcing, communication plans and risk analysis

  • Work with internal and external partners to handle, set and communicate delivery expectations; demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical customers

  • Build process documentation as needed

  • Cultivate robust and balanced working relationships between business and technology teams to develop a cross-functional team environment

  • Promote and evangelize Agile Transformation and continued adoption across the organization

DUTIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Develop detailed cases to support product development investments

  • Build detailed product specifications for use in product development efforts

  • Perform Competitive Analyses

  • Support development off training documentation

  • Support commercial teams as needed in product commercialization initiatives

  • Support delivery teams as needed during product / project deployment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, previous experience working with a cross functional team of project / product managers, software developers, administrators and testers.

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a technology field

  • At least 1 year experience, or equivalent, in product management, project management, Analytics

  • Successful track record of developing products / projects on time and on budget

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Creative and adventurous thinker

  • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends

  • Analytical proficiency:

  • The ability to analyze problems and find solutions

  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, PPM, SAP, CPQ, AI technologies, models and frameworks; Agile principles and processes

OBJECTIVES

  • Has a validated understanding of workflows including analyzing, redefining data and evaluating results to make significant predictions; sophisticated knowledge of multiple IGT products and their requirements

  • Participates in agile ceremonies i.e., sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to provide guidance and prioritize product features and project updates

  • Operates within the context of well-defined procedures for the Global Business Services department

  • Communicates with customers and primary internal contacts, develops cultivation of balanced working relationships; ability to address customer concerns, capture feedback, and handle expectations to ensure alignment between strategies and business goals

  • Performs Competitive Analyses; drives a variety of semi-routine tasks and solves problems in resourceful / effective ways
