1 Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift Pay Range: $20 - $30/hr., depending on experience OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift to join our team in East Liberty, OH! As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support in the service and maintenance of all customer equipment and processes associated with their mission of accomplishing daily production goals. This may include basic labor, routine maintenance, equipment repairs, or troubleshooting and debugging equipment system issues, depending upon individual qualifications and or certifications. What You'll Do: Provide timely response to any call for assistance in matters affecting production related equipment. Perform routine inspections on associated equipment for any safety and operational discrepancies. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working order. Provide troubleshooting skills for effective problem resolution and repairs. Maintain all records and documentation as directed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in support of good housekeeping. Perform any other job-related task as directed by senior management. Ensure high grade work is performed in all maintenance functions, whether breakdown or preventative, ensuring our customers are receiving the superior service they expect in a safe manner. Specific items may include timely response and resolution to repairs, accurately following PM procedure, detail oriented, documentation and/or data entry, etc. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: Completion of high school or equivalent. Further education consisting of electrical/mechanical is desirable but not required. General mechanical knowledge Uses hand tools properly and safely. Understands different units of measurement. Comprehends basic mechanical principles and practices. Possesses good mechanical aptitude and can apply this to daily work being performed. Basic electrical knowledge. Uses electrical safe work practices and Lock Out procedures. Applies proper electrical installation and wiring techniques. Possesses basic knowledge of electrical schematics, electrical principles, and is able to apply good equipment troubleshooting techniques to solve equipment issues. Ability to troubleshoot using an electrical multimeter. Available to work varying shifts when necessary. Available to work overtime, whether it is being called in early or staying over, when necessary.
