Eaton Corporation Document Controller in Zaltbommel, Netherlands
In this role, you will provide documentation related support for the Eaton project delivery team for large data centers.
The role required flexibility and ability to manage urgent requests as required, while working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual with an aptitude for problem-solving, learning, and organizing in a face paced environment.
The role plays a pivotal role in processes, technology, and oversight to ensure documents are versioned appropriately and accessible to only those who need them.
It requires an excellent communicator with superior organizational skills. It also brings the opportunity to work in a collaborative and motivated team with various level of stakeholders across the EMEA region.
The role requires a confident, self-motivated and process driven individual who can work to tight deadlines while ensuring both internal and relevant costumer processes are followed without ever compromising Eaton's ethical, safety, or quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Engineering Documentation & process Request for Information (RFI) responsibilities include but not limited to:
Liaises with Client / Contractor / Subcontractor.
Chases and Aligns with Internal- and External Stakeholders for information.
Prepares and Maintains all Technical Submittal- and RFI Registers.
Raises new to be submitted RFI's.
Processes new Technical Submittal Issues, prepares coversheet and upload to project specific documentation system.
Checks compliance and quality of documents.
Follows up on outstanding Technical Submittal status and outstanding RFI's.
Reports on the progress of documents and RFI's.
Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) responsibilities include but not limited to:
Creates sections according to our submitted submittals and in alignment with client's request.
Chases and aligns with Internal- and External Stakeholders for information.
Monitors outstanding approval statuses.
Troubleshoots inconsistencies.
Creates & submits CMMS in alignment with Serial Numbers and Client Documentation System (Compass) information.
Other general responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintains Master Doc Control Register to reflect new projects data.
Executes several Continues Improvement actions - Folder structure related.
Provides guidance for Project Managers on Documentation related questions.
Attends external Meetings O&M related.
Functions as a Backup for general Documentation activities in Documentation Manager absences.
Provides support on all reasonable documentation related request.
Any other reasonably requested tasks to ensure the smooth running of all projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or certified trainings in regards to project coordination.
Proven experience in delivering high quality documentation (e.g. Technical Submittals, Operation manuals) in a complex project management environment.
Proven experience to organize and preserve documents.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail while balancing various activities and competing demands.
Working electrical engineering knowledge.
Excellent (Advanced) working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM).
Multi-year experience and deep knowledge of documentation tools such as CAD, Aconex, BIM360, Procore, 4P.
Familiarity of Eaton products (or competitor equivalents) around large 3-phase UPS, LV, and MV.
Proven track record of achieving objectives and solving problems.
Detail oriented, proactive, accountable, structured, strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Highly autonomous, comfortable and capable at communicating and working with a wide variety of stakeholders across departments.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
