The opportunity
In your new role as Associate Director, Data Science & Technology - Global Manufacturing Modernization you will manage and execute scouting and evaluation of use cases in context of Manufacturing Modernization program at TEVA Global Operations.
You will work with the Manufacturing Modernization Team, global disciplines, and external vendors to identify new potential modernization use cases and help to advance existing digital use cases. Scouting, testing and evaluation of potential digital solutions as well as presenting the outcome of the evaluation to Business and IT Leadership is also part of the responsibility.
How you’ll spend your day
• Developing and managing ideation process as part of the modernization program
• Proactively examining and recommending innovative data analytics and other digital techniques through close partnership with IT
• Collaboration with business representatives to define User requirements
• Working with external vendors to find potential technical solutions
• Planning and execution of POC (proof of concept) studies to evaluate applicability of technical solutions
• Working with the stakeholders on calculation of the Business impact and presenting case studies for management approval
• Supporting development of a global approach for data management and data governance
• Developing data evaluation models to support process optimization projects on a site level as e.g. Real Time Release Testing or Predictive Analytics or preventive maintenance
• Sharing expertise and providing training to internal partners
Your experience and qualifications
• A degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Informatics or similar
• At least 5 - 10 years of work experience in Data Science field
• Proven experience in advanced data analytics / statistics, respective software applications and data base
• Demonstrated technical experience
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally in pharmaceutical, food or cosmetics industry is highly preferred
• Excellent command of English both written and verbal
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Skilled to collaborate and work in a global, multicultural environment
• Ready to travel part of your working time
