Responsibilities You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work to verify and maintain and reconcile accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports. You will perform technical work in support of the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods. You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation and compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government. You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government. You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintain ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing administrative, technical, or analytical support of accounting, budgeting or other related financial management work. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
