Position: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Responsible for managing the Facility Equipment for a global development center for safe, sustainable, and secure mobility including the upkeep and repair of the facilities, proving grounds equipment and other mobility equipment. This includes maintenance of lawn equipment, snow equipment, ACM fleet vehicles, ACM touring vehicles, research vehicles, and support to customer vehicles when needed. ?
Responsibilities:
- Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Valid Drivers license
- CDL License.
- Good driving record required.
- Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions.
- Performs maintenance & mechanical repairs; Loaders, Skytrack, Forklifts, Mowers, and facility vehicles.
- Support customers vehicles as needed
- Support transportation of vehicles for customers on and off site.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and schedules.
- Experience plowing snow.
- Experience in grounds maintenance
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Other duties as needed.
- Mentor other maintenance personnel
- A willingness to work extra hours as needed.
