Location: Youngsville, NC

Shift: 3PM-11PM

Pay Rate: $19.38 – $20.77

Job Description

This person will lead the operators to meet the specific goals that correspond to the overall departmental objectives. The goals will be achieved by focusing on process, quality, costs and safety metrics. This person will be responsible for process and equipment issues. This role will be the first line of defense for operators during problem solving and production issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that cable design is being executed based on BOM and spec sheets.

  • Operates safely and recommends opportunities to improve safety through SHOC Process or other means.

  • Ensure team members are properly trained, and work is performed in accordance with procedures as well as health and safety requirements.

  • Ensures equipment is in good working condition and calibrated.

  • Monitor work activities and initiate actions to eliminate problems.

  • Reviews current equipment capabilities and recommends changes to maintain and advance capabilities.

  • Interacts with operators on the line as well supervisors and leadership team to ensure quality customer service and proficient process are being created.

  • Attend Production, or other necessary, meetings

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-3 years of experience

  • Basic Cable Design preferred

  • Experience in Cable or Electrical Equipment Testing preferred

  • Communicate effectively with management and peers.

  • Basic leadership & supervisory skills as well as Planning and Organizing
