Job Summary: The Graphics Technician will support the graphics team, manufacturing manager, operators, and lithography specialists to confirm that each job on the production floor is accurate and within requirement specifications. They will be responsible to learn, operate, and maintain all subprocesses within the Graphics department including platemaking, prepress operation, and ink and plate processing. The Graphic Technician will report to the Prepress and Plate Coordinator but work closely with the graphic art services team. Job Duties: Understand HYBRID software and have the ability to update data, complete tasks, etc. Generate HYBRID job set-up sheets to communicate specific information regarding orders. Prepare each job with necessary materials and documentation. Document how ink was mixed for jobs or any revisions to orders. Follow ink mixing from previous orders that has been documented. Examine plates for errors and defects to determine accuracy in print height, text and revisions, etc. Examine and clean plates before storage after a job is complete. Log and record operational data on computer. Conduct coating samples and ensure coatings match. Communicate color matches and revisions with INX Manager Mix inks to create specific finishes. Authority to stop and/or modify work processes due to non-conformance and/or unsafe working conditions. Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager. Perform all other job duties as assigned. Actively prepare and process artwork files for Laser Engraver to engrave plates. Incorporate all press specifications in files including marks, registration, gain curves, profiles, etc. to achieve press matches. Effectively maintain platemaking equipment and perform standard TPM and other maintenance activities. Perform Beta Flex QC Checks and evaluations. Maintain plate material inventory (i.e. plates, dust, filters, spare parts, etc.) Work closely with supplier and graphics team on communicating and ensuring updates from
