Assistant Professor, Industrial and Systems Engineering (Tenure-Track) Class Code: 998017 YOUNGSTOWN STATE UNIVERSITY (OH) Established Date: Jul 3, 2024 SALARY RANGE $57,886.00 - $78,000.00 Annually SUMMARY OF POSITION: The tenure-track assistant professor will join a team of faculty advancing the ISEN program in Rayen School of Engineering at YSU by teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaches within the Online Engineering Management Master's program. Conducts research in various ISEN areas and mentors graduate students with their thesis or project. During the academic year, the tenure-track assistant professor will also serve as undergraduate program coordinator for Industrial and Systems engineering as described in the Rayen School of Engineering Governance documents. POSITION INFORMATION: Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Ability to contribute to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the University community through teaching. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None Minimum Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in Engineering or equivalent with a master's degree in industrial & systems engineering or equivalent by the time of appointment.
