Job Title: Operator
Job Description
In this role, you will be working in the Specialties area where two types of mixes are created: a powder substance and a wet mixture substance. Large super sacs will be filled with these substances are then shipped to other buildings on-site.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery with setup and basic troubleshooting - not just button pushing
Set up machinery and adjust dials as necessary
Use a computer interface for basic Excel functions like high/low values, special tests, and keying input numbers
Maintain a clean work area
Utilize a forklift to retrieve material or move pallets/sacs
Lift and move material up to 75 pounds
Essential Skills
Previous machine operating experience
Ability to use a computer interface and familiarity with Excel for basic functions
Sit-down forklift experience
Basic math skills
Mechanical aptitude for inspection and troubleshooting
Awareness around safety
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical fitness for lifting and moving materials
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.56 - $24.56
