Description
Based in Harrisburg, a mid-sized construction company is seeking a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team. The project assistant will be directly supporting the project manager in organizing commercial projects. This position requires strong administrative skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Assisting Project Managers and teams with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information.
Organizing projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
Documenting and following up on essential actions and decisions from meetings.
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Ensuring project deadlines are met.
Undertaking project tasks as required.
Providing administrative support by organizing files, scanning and uploading documents, making phone calls, and completing data entry.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Prior experience in project management a plus but not required
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of project management software tools.
