DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be tasked with carrying out a range of routine manual labor tasks in the yard, including mowing, building, and grounds maintenance, all under the guidance of a supervisor. You will also be expected to assist the County Bridge Crew with various general labor duties, such as form building, pouring concrete, stone masonry, and tying rebar, as and when required. Additionally, part of your responsibilities will involve identifying equipment issues using diagnostic tools, following testing procedures, and assisting in more complex troubleshooting, as well as conducting minor repairs and maintenance on motorized hand equipment like chain saws, compressors, jackhammers, and more. Other duties will include shoveling snow, sweeping and cleaning walkways, maintaining the immediate outdoor premises and building entrances, making minor repairs to building fixtures, doors, windows, and performing general carpentry tasks. You will also be responsible for non-specialized cleaning and building maintenance functions, operating small hand tools, riding mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and hedge trimmers, as well as maintaining planting beds, trees, and shrubs, clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways, raking leaves, and cleaning up minor storm damage like blowdowns when necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirement:
