Emerson Residence Service I Engineer in PSS (Yongin) in Yongin-si, South Korea

Job Summary:

After completing a thorough training program, the Residence (Managed) Service I Engineer will implement, test, and document applications for Process Automation Systems developed for our clients. This work will be carried out within project and service teams according to agreed-upon plans and functional requirements. The Residence (Managed) Service I Engineer will also assist in software engineering activities at customer sites, particularly in the Life Science industry.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure that required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, and documentation) are in place before commencing work.

  • Produce components of the total functional design specifications under the direction of the Lead or Site Manager.

  • Create technical design specifications under the direction of the Lead or Site Manager.

  • Execute and supervise implementation tasks to align with relevant standards and quality systems.

  • Execute and supervise testing tasks to comply with relevant documents, standards, and quality systems.

  • Generate project documentation to align with relevant standards and quality systems.

  • Share technical knowledge with the service team and other engineering staff.

  • Report progress and technical issues to the Site Manager, Service Manager, and Lead Engineer.

  • Proactively identify potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work.

  • Assist in software engineering activities for our customers on-site.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Educational background in Engineering or a related field.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with a diverse range of individuals.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and fluency in English.

  • Proficient in software programming and MS Office applications.

  • Willingness to work on-site at customer locations for limited periods.
