Who We Are:

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a motivated CBRN Regional Coordinator to work at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan and join our team of dedicated professionals in an exciting and successful company. You will support the Commander, Naval Forces Japan (CNFJ) as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Field Service Representatives (FSR) to ensure the continued operability of NAVFAC ATFP.

What You Will Do:

• The Regional CBRN Coordinator must have knowledge of and experience in planning, coordinating, and facilitating CBRN/HAZMAT support in order to ensure First Responders at respective Naval installations have serviceable and operational CBRN equipment to effectively and efficiently respond to a CBRN/HAZMAT incident thereby minimizing disruptions and/or negative impacts on Navy missions, personnel and property. Additional responsibilities the Regional CBRN/HAMZAT Coordinator have include, but are not limited to, those identified below:

• Provide guidance and assistance on all CBRN/HAZMAT matters to the CNFJ command

• Deploy to respective installations under the CNFJ command IOT provide CBRN support as required

• Participate as a member Threat Working Group(TWG), Operational Planning Group (OPG), and Crisis Action Team (CAT)

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate CBRN/HAZMAT training for First Responders on respective installations in the CNFJ command

• Perform maintenance on designated CBRN/HAZMAT equipment IAW OEM manuals in order to ensure operability of each item

• Ensure CBRN/HAZMAT equipment is stored IAW OEM instructions in order equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times

• Assist with tracking and maintaining CBRN equipment inventory data

• Generate trouble tickets for non-operational equipment

• Generate trouble tickets for expired/expiring equipment

• Participate in new equipment and refresher training provided by the program in order to enhance, maintain, and sustain knowledge of CBRN/HAZMAT equipment residing at each installation

• Provide CBRN/HAZMAT training to First Responders on respective installations

• Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.

• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.

• Identifies systemic problem trends and/or recurring equipment quality issues and provides feedback to supervisors and organizations.

• Recommends actions to resolve logistics management and operational problems with the goal of optimizing and improving current processes and systems.

• Implements, monitors, and assesses processes to train maintainers and users of systems/tools.

• Creates, updates, and publishes a wide range of technical documents including: SOPs, CONOPS, task-specific user manuals, policies, plans, equipment checklists, and other technical writings.

What We're Looking For:

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.

• Experience in providing CBRN/HazMat training and logistics support

• Working Knowledge of Military Logistics

• Ability to review, edit, finalize CBRN/WMD operational plans

• Clearance: Possess an active Secret Clearance

Preferred Requirements

• Hazardous Material (HazMat) Technician certification

• Firefighter Background

• Experience with Military Operations, Logistics, Plans, Training, and Exercise support.

• Conduct technical review of naval support activity for OCONUS installation Emergency Management instructions and plans.

• Experience in providing senior staff/commanders with recommended course of actions(COAs) in support of CBRN/HAZMAT operations

• Familiar with operations, training, and troubleshooting of CBRN equipment to include but not limited to Detection and PPE.

• 10 years’ experience in providing CBRN/HAZMAT training and logistical support for First Responders from respective proficiencies, to include; Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES), Law Enforcement (LE)/Security Forces, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)

• Experience at an Army Division/Brigade; Navy Fleet; Air Force Wing; Marine Corps MEF level
