Position: Principle Application Engineer (Cadence Interface IP), Yokohama

Position Description:

  • Application Engineer of IP, mainly Interface IP products

  • Offer application-specific solutions for HPC, AI and other customers with domain-specific knowledge

  • Presales and technical campaign with proactive and creative approach working with Sales and Marketing

  • Communicate with customers, up-to-date products information on Interface IP of various protocols

  • Support customer projects toward success with R&D by focusing on customers’ pain points and satisfaction

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years design or customer related working experience

  • Experience in participating SoC project or experience in IP development

  • Experience with at least one of DDR/PCIE/SerDes/Ethernet/USB protocols will be a plus

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and problem solving skills are required

  • Good understanding of SoC architecture will be a plus

  • Back-end design and analog skills will be a plus

  • Good understanding of the semiconductor IP marketplace and ecosystem

  • Native Japanese speaker, can use English as working language in written and verbal
