Delaware North HR Generalist, Yellowstone National Park in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will manage on-boarding, training, compliance, employee relations, and being the connector between the location and our enterprise Human Resources team.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $45800 - $59600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • On-board new team members and follow up with team members after 30, 60, and 90 days of employment.

  • Organize team member focus groups.

  • Facilitate team member training including new hire orientation.

  • Manage employee housing and transportation as needed.

  • Track the completion of mandatory team member training and provide updates on compliance.

  • Create and communicate training schedules.

  • Maintain training records and provide reports on activities as needed.

  • Assist with team member engagement communication and activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of HR or related experience required.

  • Experience with employee housing is preferred.

  • Experience with with onboarding and managing J1 and H2B employees is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work high volume and ever-changing environment.

  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail, and Internet use required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Valid driver's license is required.
