Position overview:

The Finance Planning and Analysis Supervisor role reports to the Regional Finance Planning & Analysis Manager (Matrix reporting to Myanmar Finance Manager) and this role will be critical in terms of managing finance reporting for Myanmar and monitoring and controlling of cost.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurate & timely reporting with detailed variance explanations to Myanmar biz as per defined frequency i.e weekly, fortnightly & monthly and ensuring meetings with key stakeholders and following through on the action points

  • Accurate & timely reportsing with detailed variance explanations to Luton (European Region-EMEA HQ) & to Denver (Ball US HQ) and ensuring meetings with key stakeholders and following through on the action points

  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) function wise to monitor business performance & follow through on action points

  • Running the entire AOP & Forecasting process in co-ordination with key stakeholders including organizing meetings and ensuring reports are submitted in time & accurately after alignment

  • EVA analysis on inventory holding for customer and also help Plant/IBP/Procurement in EVA analysis for any initiatives and taking lead and drive projects with Sales/IBP/Procurement which generates EVA

  • Independently managing the Monthly Reporting Process for Myanmar with co-ordination with all stakeholders i.e Plants, SCM, HR etc & sending MIS reports for EMEA/Denver and ensuring minimum scores > 90 monthly in terms of accuracy & timeliness of reports

  • Managing the Annual Plans and Forecasts, schedule meetings and alignment with all stakeholders and final reports in time to EMEA/Denver and monthly reporting, explanations of variances and following through on key action points

  • Supporting various stakeholders like IBP, Procurement & Plant for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Economic Value Added (EVA) analysis on various initiatives and monitor these projects for actual savings aligning with the intended benefits based on which the approvals were taken

What are we looking for?

  • Finance graduate with minimum 5 years post qualification experience in similar function in a manufacturing set up

  • Experience of a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Advanced JDE, SAP and Excel skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage information with different stakeholders

  • Strong report composition skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
