Manulife Assistant Manager, Agency Compensation in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma)

The opportunity

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the development and administration of effective compensation programs for the agency by ensuring that compensation policies are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the agency's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to carry out the operation of payment and compensation adjustment.

  • Enact administration policy to monitor the payment and the validation & settlement systems for providing accurate deliverables to agency.

  • Work with the MIS team/ Business solution team to streamline and automate the operation processes that limit productivity.

  • Monitor closely the progress of the development or enhancement.

  • Lead the team to support agency recruitment in the launch of new profiles, new compensation or bonus schemes.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, accounting or related roles.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
