Operator Responsibilities
- Set up the machine and production lines at the beginning of each shift.
- Troubleshoot issues with knives, scales, weights, jams, tape machines, and censors.
- Train new hires and assist all positions involved in the line as needed or directed by management.
- Monitor and track productivity through accurate documentation.
- Seek for opportunities to maximize line effectiveness.
Operator Qualifications
- Ability to determine when and how to shutdown lines.
- Ability to handle routine duties including zipper change, film change, and corrugate packaging material.
- Knowledge to perform CCP & CQP (metal detector checks).
- Capability to maintain cleanliness of lines and production floor.
