Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

This role that acts as the interface between the clinical customer and the Engineering team. Will focus on collecting user needs and user experience requirements and convert to product design. Individual in the role typically has ultrasound clinical and product experience.

  • Collaborate with end users to collect user needs locally, globally and generate design proposal. Evaluate, validate design by performing internal and external clinical studies.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competitor and the factors that generate clinical inputs.

  • Create clinical documentations which to meet product design, research, and regulatory registration and so on.

  • Work with marketing and region team to support product training and launch locally and globally.

  • Validate product performance vs GE quality process

  • Build up and maintain hospitals and KOLs to support product development, advance technology study and clinical collaboration.

  • Acts as a clinical resource for colleagues/engineers with less clinical experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered ultrasound doctor. Bachelor's or above degree in Ultrasound or Clinical Medical major.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in hospital or ultrasound industry with strong ultrasound knowledge.

  • Ability to work in a highly independent manner and able to contribute collaboratively within local and global teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan and execute programs.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and local language.

  • Motivation and interest in developing medical technology and willing to purse new application areas.

  • Strong communication skills.
