Kuehne+Nagel Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Wroclaw, Poland
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) who will be the vital player ensuring the successful delivery of value in the domain of Pricing + Quote for Sea Logistics.
Your Role
You will be a part of an international multiple location product team which works on a mission critical application. Work with us on the vision to change the legacy world and build a modern architecture with new green field applications, high level of automation and tight connection to our Kuehne + Nagel IT Ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
We are extending our team in Wroclaw, which is a partner team for our already existing team in Hamburg and newly formed team in Porto. Together we want to grow even further as one product team, hand in hand with the business unit and soon with you.
Be involved throughout theentire development lifecycle, from requirements definition throughrealization to demo and product delivery.
Work closely with the businessdepartment to find the best technical and functional solution for newfeature requests and improvements.
Contribute to the activedevelopment of the whole product team. Identify and propose changes toimprove the Development Process.
You will develop Java-based internal digitalproducts within the global Pricing & Quote Portfolio (Web/Desktop), writeclean code and take responsibility for quality and long-term maintainability ofthe developed software. You will also work collaboratively on definition,specification and design of a modular and integrated software products anddesign as well as implement automated tests for your code.
Your Skills and Experiences
You should have multiple years of experience in software development in an agile environment with a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to code, review, document and test the things being implemented by our team with highest quality standards.
Like the idea of being a supporter+ mentor, having a strong passion for IT and know how to find pragmaticand innovative solutions with maximum business value.
Have the strong will to evolvepersonally as well as a team in a dynamic environment.
Have academic degree in IT /Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Have strong object-orientedprogramming skills.
Knowledge of the technologies Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Git, Oracle, PostgreSQL plus experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or NgRx makes you a valuable candidate.
Knowledge about Hexagonalarchitecture, Kafka, API Gateways, Micro service architecture, DevOps willmake you a super interesting candidate.
Have fluent command of English (oral andwritten). Polish is very useful. German nice to have.
