Kuehne+Nagel IT System Analyst (m/w/d) in Wroclaw, Poland
To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a committed IT System Analyst (m/f/d) with a focus on functional and technical design.
Your Role
As an IT System Analyst for our “Business Process Automation” Application, you are part of our multi-disciplinary product team within the Airfreight Logistics business unit. On the one hand, you are in close collaboration with the business analysts as well as the software engineers with the common goal of finding the most suitable software solution for the business requirements at hand. On the other hand, you are in constant communication with our system architects to ensure that our system design adheres to the design choices related to overall system structure and behavior and that it is documented according to the current standards.
Like any other member of your team, you consciously engage with the way you and the teamwork. This means you reflect on the tools and methods and engage in discussions about new technologies and changes in the work processes.
Your Responsibilities
Active participation in the solution design process.
Constant collaboration with your colleagues from the Air logistics business unit. To do so, you will acquire the necessary knowledge about our Air logistics operations
Involvement in all phases of the development process to ensure that system design and documentation adhere to the current standards
Modelling of BPMN processes using Camunda modeler , Maintenance of our functional documentation in AsciiDoc , Maintenance of Design Artifacts in Enterprise Architect.
Continuous alignment with the system architects as well as system analysts from other teams.
Initiation of code and documentation changes based on findings from the design review or tests.
Knowledge transfer and assistance of your software engineer colleagues regarding their design and documentation tasks.
Support of our IT quality engineers in creating test cases and analyzing found issues.
Active engagement in discussions about improvements of processes, methods and tools (team internally and beyond).
Your Skills and Experiences
You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and knowledge in software design and documentation standards, methods and convention.
You have been working on an enterprise-level for multiple years and are not easily overwhelmed by large IT landscapes and have excellent analytical skills which help you to find the best technical solution for the business requirements at hand. It also helps you to identify technical issues in the system under test.
You have an attitude to design solutions which favor reuse over reinvention, but you are able to come up with your own ideas to tackle entirely new challenges. You are a master in “critical thinking”, have very good communication skills and know how to address shortcomings and improvement potential.
You have a team player attitude and are comfortable explaining your designs and design review findings both to your technical colleagues as well as to your colleagues from the business unit.
You have a high level of initiative, as well as a goal-oriented and structured working method. You are comfortable speaking English.
You are willing to get in depth knowledge of Air logistics and familiar with AsciiDoc , Enterprise Architect by SparxSystems Ltd , can interpret JAVA code and have knowledge of process modeling with BPMN is crucial but can be acquired on the job.
