Kuehne+Nagel IT Business Analyst (m/w/d) in Wroclaw, Poland
We are looking for a dedicated IT Business Analyst to strengthen our IT team. This role focuses on analyzing business needs and creating functional and technical solutions to drive innovation.
Your Role
The position is to cover the role of IT Business Analyst for our core platform AirLOG which supports Air Forwarding all over the world. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts and you will design and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your customers. You'll work closely with our Air Logistics Team to find the best technical and functional solution for new feature requests to support and enhance our Air Logistics services.
Your Responsibilities
Requirements management – helping business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a use-case and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
Assisting in requirements gathering, analysis, including effectively documenting and articulating requirements to business stakeholders and developers for developing solutions.
Functionally clarify requirements with our business experts and architects.
Elicit and document system requirements.
Modelling Functional & Technical entities.
Document the functional and technical design according to our patterns to enable a consistent implementation.
Create a system handbook for super user and system administrator based on the implemented functionality.
Participating and work according to team best practices.
Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions.
Positively challenge all team members on how the products and processes can be improved.
Evaluate and refine the upcoming tasks within the team.
Your Skills and Experiences
Degree in information technology or proven experience.
At least 3-5 years hands-on experience as a business analyst, gathering/defining business requirements and re-engineering business processes.
Experience, at least 2 years of UML methodologies.
Experience in Enterprise Architect is a plus.
Experience with version control solutions.
Ability to analyze and solve problems with a view to the ecosystem as a whole.
Interest in design methodology and functional specification.
Ability to work in an Agile environment.
Experience in facilitating discussions, leading focus groups with various levels of end-users.
Team player who cares about delivering the best that they can.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Excellent listening, interpersonal and communication as well as collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Problem-solving skills, innovative and creative approach.
Highly self-motivated, directed, detail-oriented and result-driven personality.
