The role is part of the MEU R&D Chocobakery, Pastry and Waffles team based in Wroclaw Technical Center and the main responsibilities of the team cover all Chocobakery, Pastry and Waffles successful Portfolio for the MEU region related to New Product launches, Renovations, Quality Improvements and Margin initiatives.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Working in teams and independently with the guidance of more senior team members

  • Plan and execute pilot & industrial trials in cooperation with project leaders of  theChocobakery, Pastry and Waffles team as well as support pilot trials of otherBakery groups if requested.

  • Independent operation of all pilot plant chocobakery technologies and analytical equipment management

  • Be a key user of the pilot plant equipment including issue/maintenance of working instructions; lead trainings for predefined equipment

  • Applying your technical understanding of equipment and ingredients to support pilot plant and/or laboratory operations

  • Carry out all relevant lab process controls

  • Recording and reporting data and activity outcomes accurately. Issue reports on trials performed and oversee trials booking system

  • Proactively identifying problems and assisting in creating and implementing solutions

  • Supervisory and maintenance of common raw materials stock

  • Identify and propose improvements both for product development as well as pilot plant processes and workplace, especially in 5S and work safety areas

Profile & Competencies

  • Bachelor in Food technology

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG as machine operator, production technician in food industry

  • General knowledge of food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and ability to operate the equipment

  • High awareness of best in class safety standards in the industry and Hygiene/Quality in food production

  • Ability to work with others to deliver results

  • Flexible and eager to learn new technology, experiment new things

  • Communicative level of English required

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
