Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Electrician/Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment. They will work with highly automated and specialized Foundry equipment used in the process of melting, molding, and forming castings.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair advanced industrial electrical, robotic, and pneumatic issues on all production equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform electrical and software troubleshooting of production equipment failures with minimal direction and guidance.
Provide electrical and pneumatic maintenance support and training to operators that results in improved machine availability and increased performance.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical, robotic, and pneumatic systems according to specification.
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for most hydraulic and mechanical equipment issues.
Wire and install new equipment throughout the facility; able to take projects from conception to implementation with minimal guidance and direction.
Utilize resources such as equipment manuals to execute more complex repairs; interface with equipment manufacturers as needed on highly complex equipment issues.
Train machine operators on daily maintenance procedures.
Proficiently design, weld, and fabricate basic parts to repair equipment.
Perform general plant, building, and grounds maintenance as required.
Essential Skills
3+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
Direct Industrial Electrical Skills
Troubleshooting PLCs
Comfortable in Foundry/Heavy Manufacturing
Must have own set of mechanic tools
Industrial electrical experience
Troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of schematics and blueprints
Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
PLC troubleshooting
SHIFT
The position is for the 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Overtime on weekends is voluntary, but if no volunteers are available, it will result in a weekend rotation. Training will be on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with slight variations depending on the department.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70720.00
