Open Sky Community Services Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Services- Assistant Program Director in Worcester, Massachusetts

Description and Responsibilities
Open Sky offers a comprehensive range of mental health services for younger children and adolescents. By combining the use of evidence-based treatments with age-appropriate wraparound services we assist young children and adolescents in moving beyond their social-emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric challenges and return successfully to their homes, schools and the community. Services include residential youth group homes, flexible support services, and intensive home based therapeutic care.
The Assistant Program Director will provide clinical oversight and ensure timely completion of screening and enrollment of individuals referred to CAYAS programs. They will identify and evaluate individuals risk issues, develop appropriate critical need interventions and oversee the completion, implementation and sign off of Treatment Plans and Treatment Plan reviews, as needed. They will also provide direct supervision to the Program Coordinator for In Home Based Therapeutic Care as well as the Program Coordinator and Clinician for Flexible Support Services.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical supervision (individual and/or group) to licensed clinical staff and other staff as assigned.
Participate in and assist in overseeing the divisional risk management meetings.
Work collaboratively with all members of the care team to ensure efficient and effective treatment services, which maximize the success and satisfaction of individuals served.
Oversee scheduling of Psychiatric Consultations and monitor implementation of recommendations.
Provide direct clinical services to program individuals and families served, which will include individual and group therapy, as well as, in-home family treatment. as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Services required.
Must be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, LADCI, LCSW).
Minimum of two years’ experience in human service management required.
Previous experience working with youth and young adults with serious and persistent mental illness, required.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
