Job Posting Title Senior Financial Analyst Job Description Summary Financial record keeping and reporting. Maintaining records of the organization's financial activity, organizational standards. Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use. Completing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, cash management, and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities. Supporting and assisting accounting staff in the development of their professional skills. Job Description Prepare monthly reports of results and forecasts, including KPI's. Analyze and accurately report current month's financial results to local and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements. Support annual budgeting and capital expenditures planning. Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical adjustments. Analyze potential excess and obsolete inventory items on a monthly basis. Meet with manufacturing, engineering, finance, and sales management employees regularly to discuss all plant issues. Analyze internal controls to ensure assets are adequately safeguarded and results are accurately reported. Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Promote and maintain a positive teamwork environment. Maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees and vendors Required Skills and Education 3 - 5 years experience in financial management position. Highly proficient in Excel. Manufacturing finance experience including standard costing, material, labor and overhead variance analysis required. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment where priorities are changed and tight deadlines occur regularly. Strong sense of urgency and results oriented.
