Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. This role involves testing, debugging, and repairing PCBs, as well as maintaining electronic equipment and test fixtures. You will provide technical assistance across various internal departments, troubleshoot electronic component issues, and work with third-party inspectors. Additionally, you will assist in the production of test jigs, generate test procedures, and ensure all repairs and inspections meet the appropriate quality standards.
Responsibilities
Test (physical & visual), debug, and repair PCBs
Repair and maintain electronics equipment and test fixtures
Provide technical assistance to other internal departments
Troubleshoot electronic component issues
Work with third-party inspectors
Assist production in building test jigs and other tools
Assist in the generation of test procedures
Replace components and repair circuit boards
Inspect to appropriate quality standards
Essential Skills
2 years of experience working with PCBs
Experience in PCB assembly and test procedures
Proficiency in PCB rework
Knowledge of SMT and through-hole techniques
Ability to inspect PCBs
Experience in replacing electronic components and discrete components
Skill in circuit board repairs
Ability to read and understand schematics and BOMs
Familiarity with IPC 7711/7721, J-STD-001, and A-610 standards
Understanding of circuitry
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in PCB inspection
Knowledge in PCB testing
Understanding of IPC 610 standards
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. Enjoy a 4-day work week, having every Friday off. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
