Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Manager, Rx Product Development to develop and implement analytics applications and models to transform data into meaningful information. Duties include: design and develop data solutions using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices to profile data and refine portfolio-level impact evaluation strategy to improve consistency and efficiency and eliminate bias in patient care services test design; develop in-depth analytics on large databases that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders on program performance, patient behavior, and profitability; develop advanced algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluate scenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information on health metrics and potential future outcomes; utilize data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and manipulate data from multiple large data sources and deliver predictive models that inform solutions for in-house teams (i.e. pharmacy pricing, medical costs, risk scores, onboarding) and customer engagement across critical journeys (i.e. calories, heart rate, breast cancer, maternity); utilize data-oriented programming languages and visualization software to explore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms and solve complex business problems; visualize and interpret data and create reports, manipulate data using statistical software, and compare models using statistical performance metrics; execute multi-stage projects and translate complex analytical results into actionable insights and business recommendations; work with cross-functional teams to design new experiments, evaluate outcomes, interpret results, and promote best practices and ongoing professional development; and support deployment of insights across multiple channels using analysis methods, machine learning, and statistical analyses.   • Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Health Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Medical Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems; Manipulating data sets with SQL, Python, and PySpark; Applying advanced analytical methods including natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning (DL) to analyze patient or medical data; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; Visualization tools, including Tableau or PowerBI; Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; and NLP (Scikit-Learn, SpaCity, Pytorch, or Spark NLP). OR Ph.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) in Health Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Medical Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis, or a related field and completion of a doctorate-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or work experience involving each of the following: Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems; Manipulating data sets with SQL, Python, and PySpark; Applying advanced analytical methods including natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning (DL) to analyze patient or medical data; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; Visualization tools, including Tableau or PowerBI; Designing data models and solutions; Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; and NLP (Scikit-Learn, SpaCity, Pytorch, or Spark NLP).

Pay Range: $133682.00/year to $162700.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
