Position Summary
This position will be responsible for providing analytical support for the CVS Enterprise Procurement organization. In this role you will support a variety of Procurement customers in their analytic endeavors; from assisting your colleagues in Sourcing with cost impact analytics, to supporting business leaders in process monitoring and KPI tracking. The Sr. Analyst is a data driven individual using their experiences to clean, simplify, and organize large data sets into consumable business insights served through our suite of Tableau dashboards. As a dashboard owner you’ll be responsible for documentation, and oversight of the data inputs pulled both directly from Source systems as well as SQL databases. The Sr. Analyst will also be a core contributor to improving & maintaining Procurements spend cube through advanced spend analytics, vendor research, and collaboration with Category Managers.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Drive procurement analytics that go beyond primary reporting; provide valuable insights and identify opportunities.
Supporting business leads with ad hoc analytics & benchmarking.
Ongoing support and maintenance of Procurement’s spend cube.
Build and maintain operational Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights to teams across the Procurement and Accounts Payable Organization.
Utilize new and existing tools in the areas of visualizations and data analytics that will enhance reporting, as well as enable procurement teams to execute on savings opportunities.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience (Analytics, Finance, AP, Procurement)
2+ years of Tableau experience
2+ years of Excel experience
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to leverage analytics and metrics to form business cases for opportunity identification.
Strong business & technical communication skills.
Experience building insightful data visualizations and dashboards.
Experience working with structured databases, preferably with large data sets.
Experience with data extraction, preparation, linking and joining multisource data.
Experience with SQL, R, Python, Alteryx, and advanced Excel skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, a related business discipline, or STEM or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,700.00 - $107,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
