Position Summary:

The Lead UX Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping the user experience strategy and design direction of our digital products. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance user satisfaction and drive business objectives. They are responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing user experience design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.

  • Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.

  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.

  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and translate business requirements into compelling user experiences.

  • Advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices across the department.

  • Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously enhance the design process and deliver innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to implementation.

  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.

  • Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring junior UX designers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts to stakeholders and team members.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$97,335.00 - $201,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
