SKULogic Inc Senior Software Engineer in Woodstock, Georgia
Participate in discovery and analysis of client requirements. Document business processes and systems requirements. Create functional and technical design documents around WM and TE for IBMi Solutions and integration between these solutions and MHE Systems like Dematic, Intelligrated,OPEX SureSort, Beumer. Define technical architecture of WM and TE products and integration between the systems. Responsible for development of application changes and new developments using RPGLE and CLLE languages on the AS400 platform for all WM and TE functional and technical modules. Integration with partner systems like SAP, DOM, ATG and TIBCO throughDB2/400, SQLand IBM MQ, SFTP, and HTTP to exchange the data. Develop JSONdocuments using IBMi, and SQL for REST calls. Conduct code reviews of enhancements being developed. Perform QA and Testing of enhancements being developed to comply with functional and technical requirements. Integration with Oracle RMS System for Sales, Planning, and Invoicing. Creation of user documents and end-user training. Participate in 24/7 On-Call Customer/Production support to resolve system issues and ensure smooth operation of customer DCs. Debug complex WM and TE technical modules to identify issues and implement fixes. Partner with clients IT and Operations teams to ensure the WM
application meets client systemic and operational needs. Work with carrier and vendor partners like UPS and FedEx to ensure proper integration and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
Work with Business Partner systems to monitor and facilitate data flow between the systems of all business transactions executed in the WM and TE systems via XML and IBM MQs. Perform day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of jobs and data for the WM application to ensure the system performs at the optimized level.
Manage coordination with offshore resources to ensure quality technical delivery. Ensure proper use of available technical resources for timely completion of projects. Communicate project timeline risks and issues to internal and customer stakeholders. Produce demo scripts and configure demo environment
.
Assist in live online demonstrations with clients. Identify client flows and transfer knowledge to offshore resources.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related.Related experience must include Oracle RMS Integration, SQL, JSON, XML, AS400, RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400. Travel to unanticipated client sites nationally. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
