Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Woods Hole, Massachusetts

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the Talent Acquisition Team. The position will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team in the full-cycle recruitment of scientific, engineering, & varying roles within the institution. This role will provide operational support to ensure seamless, timely, & effective recruitment & people operations processes. The ideal work arrangement for this position is Hybrid at the Institute in Woods Hole, MA, with the employee being available for onsite for candidate interviews & other adhoc meetings, events, & duties as required. Job Description Essential Functions & Duties Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists, Senior TA Specialists, & the TA Manager to support the attraction & evaluation of candidates, interview scheduling, documentation, & data/reporting for the end-to-end hiring process. Support TA team in the identification of top talent for open roles through a variety of sourcing methods. Provide regular reporting updates to TA team on funnel metrics, candidate activity, sourcing pools, etc.? Act as the face of WHOI, attending career fairs, conferences, & other recruitment events/functions. Support a diverse workforce & ensure compliance with local, regional, national, & international guidelines & procedures. Maintain accurate candidate tracking in Applicate Tracking System for EEO & AAP reporting. Ensure positions are posted internally & externally to the appropriate slate of posting sites. Partner with Total Rewards/Benefits & HR to support timely & efficient onboarding of new hires & rehires. Manage offer & hiring paperwork. Adhoc People Ops & Talent duties as assigned. Required Experience & Education BS/BA degree OR high school diploma/GED & 2 years of relevant administrative support experience Ability to communicate in written & verbal form with employees across all levels & functions Proficiency in MS Office Suite (or Office online) Ability to review & edit job descriptions & other written materials Maintain recruiting workflows, job aids & other related documentation Attention to detail & time management Preferred Experience & Education Experience supporting an HR or talent function Experience using Workday Recruiting or other applicant tracking systems Experience in a scientific, engineering or tech organization A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, engagement & inclusive recruitment practices Ability to present/facilitate to large groups of employees across levels & functions Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Additional Job Requirements Physical Requirements Lifting/carrying less than 25lbs Moderately sedentary Travel Occasional travel to career/job fairs Occasional travel to the Institute for team meetings/events \<25% travel
