Manufacturing Engineer We are looking for a talented mechanical or aerospace engineer who can successfully manage and engineer new aerospace assemblies from inception through shipping. This position will conceptualize and analyze multiple alternatives and solutions to a given engineering problem; design both the part and the associated manufacturing process; solicit and evaluate quotes; design tooling; write planning; and troubleshoot manufacturing process while working with all levels of customers, suppliers, shop and management personnel. Functions and Responsibilities Interpret Engineering drawing, specification, and GD&T. Designs and coordinates less complex Exotic manufacturing processes. Plans or improves less complex production methods including production flow, tooling, assembly methods, and production equipment. Estimate production times of less complex manufacturing processes, hardware, and tooling. Effectively work with customers, suppliers, and all levels of shop and management personnel. Skills, Education and Required Experience Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineer or equivalent Degree in Mechanical Engineering with bias towards manufacturing. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic technical problem-solving skills. Strong computer software skills and utilization of Exotic Systems (TeamCenter, XA/Browser, TipQA, Etc). Detail oriented. Minimal Project Management Experience. Basic CAD Skills.
