About the Role:As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Magnolia Place, you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality care and support to our residents.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, personal care to residents while meeting their physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
- Observe, report, and objectively document symptoms and changes in conditions/behaviors as directed by supervisors and care plans.
- Practice standard precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health, following best practices and residents' care plans.
- Help residents maintain independence, dignity, and physical safety.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
- Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
- Conduct oneself professionally and in compliance with facility policies.
- Promote positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service that supports resident care.
- Participate in identifying staff educational needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and transferring patients as needed.
