Global Foundries Assoc Eng Failure Analysis in Woodlands, Singapore

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lab Equipment Upkeep, Lab Supplies and Consumables

  • Assist lab management to maintain Failure Analysis (FA) equipment Upkeep Program are carry out per plan.

  • Facilitate with vendors and all FA groups on daily tool issue management.

  • Facilitate tool repairs are carry out timely for critical tools – SEM/FIB/TEM/Auger/SIMS etc.

  • Ensure lab supplies are sufficient & equipment's are functioning properly.

  • Perform regular lab supplies inventory check & re-stocking and drawing of lab supplies from store.

  • Raise work permit/PR/eGatePass/PCB repair/IT requests and provide support for tool related issues.

  • Provide 1st line trouble-shooting support for general tools

  • Equipment PM, Calibration & License

  • Manage overall equipment PM, Calibration & License program are carried out per plan.

  • Manage the equipment License reports and upload them in License Management System.

  • Lab Documentation Specification, tool hookup/unhook and Security.

  • Create & update documentation specification.

  • Work with Facility and Security to ensure lab safety, 6S & security compliance.

  • Work with Facility and Industrial Engineering (I on lab space expansion and new tool layout / installation.

  • Scrap Wafer Management, Chemical Management, Gas/LN2 Management

  • Perform LN2 tanks refilling task twice weekly.

  • Chemical preparation for Wright Etch Basic Solution, Phosphoric Acid Etchant (PAE), Aluminum Staining & Copper Staining.

  • Draw Chemical from Fab2, Level 1, Total Chemical Management (TCM) office.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering

  • Experience working in a lab environment

  • Fluency in English Language - written & verbal

  • Can handle chemicals and no physical allergies to common solvents/acids/alkaline.
