Introduction to the team
The Tax Assembly Specialist is responsible for overseeing and producing accurate and timely client deliverables and filings with governmental agencies. The Tax Assembly Specialist works closely with our client-facing professionals and our Tax Assembly Coordinators and may help coordinate training and workflow appropriately. They must display strong technical skills, while balancing multiple responsibilities and deadlines. This position reports to the Administrative Ops Manager or appropriate senior lead.

Coordinate and process client deliverables including tax returns, extensions, and notice responses in an accurate and timely manner, following quality control standards
Organize and communicate project deadlines, status updates and workflow assignments
Update and monitor due date tracking schedules and reports to tax management
Proactively plan work to meet client deliverable deadlines
Coordinate delivery of tax organizers and scanning client data
Coordinate and assist with binder closing procedures and compliance following quality control standards
Organize and assist with training Tax Assembly Coordinators, to include reviewing work product for quality control purposes
Help to identify process improvements for enhanced efficiency and client service
Other projects as assigned
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in professional services environment preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
