Aerospace Parts Painter, Woodinville

$25-$28/ HR - Graveyard, 10 PM- 6AM

Description:

 Prepare, paint, and detail aircraft parts to planning, drawing, and specification requirements under supervision

 Select and weigh materials for hand or machine applications

 Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspections or by using viscometers; Verify mil thickness

 Become familiar with and adhere to applicable BQMS procedures

 Follow equipment and tool standard procedures

 Maintain tools and paint cabin in a clean and orderly fashion

 Be familiar with and adhere to proper and recommended use, storage, and disposal of paints, strippers, and other chemicals

 Be familiar with and comply with safety and hazardous materials procedures as they apply to the workplace

 Participate in lean, continuous improvement, and training as required

 May occasionally perform special projects; Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-HVLP painting

-Auto body painter is highly preferred or aerospace industry

 Competent knowledge and use of aerospace painting process tools and equipment

 Competent knowledge of a broad spectrum of finishes (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics) used in aerospace

 Familiar with computer-based MRP data entry

 Blueprint reading and basic math skills

 Good manual dexterity

 Basic English language skills and ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions

 Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others

 Attention to detail

 Willingness to learn
