Advantage Technical Services, Inc Maintenance Manager in Woodinville, Washington

Staffmark has a new Direct Hire opportunity available for an experienced Maintenance Manager. The candidate selected will act as an internal consultant to senior management on facilities and maintenance matters, develop detailed recommendations on major projects, and demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement of organizational capabilities. Salary: $90,000 per year Essential Functions: Ensures working integrity of all plant equipment to support efficiency standards and the production of safe, quality products. Plans, schedules, and directs maintenance and facility projects and schedules to ensure that all work is properly prioritized and completed in a timely fashion at the lowest possible costs. Provides leadership to assigned personnel. Schedules and assigns personnel to effectively accomplish work. Monitors and manages the activities of outside contractors (Prepares technical requests for proposals, evaluates proposals, negotiates terms/conditions/pricing, awards contracts to the bidder providing the best value to the company, and monitors and controls projects and budgets to prevent cost overruns. Prepares facility designs for major projects such as equipment installation or movement, facility addition or modification, and real property modifications. Oversees fire protection and physical security systems to protect buildings, equipment, and personnel. Maintains inventory, critical parts, and spare parts and provides updates on capital investment in inventory. Actively manages and develops skills in plant mechanics while emphasizing company Core Values. Ensure department compliance with current auditing standards and the company Food Safety Management System (FSMS). Conduct OSHA safety training pertinent to the maintenance department.
