Job Title: Software Engineer (.NET) – Hybrid in Iselin, NJ - Ongoing contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time.

- 3 days/week onsite

In this role, you will be integral to developing, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions leveraging.NET. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into functional applications. This position demands expertise in software engineering practices, problem-solving, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced setting. Requirements:

  • Technical Skills :

  • 4+ years of experience in .NET development.

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Web API, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

  • Experience with Microsoft development best practices and tools.

  • Knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, and related tools is a plus.

  • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Effective time management and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain web applications and APIs using the .NET platform.

  • Collaborate with peers to create optimal solutions for technical challenges.

  • Enhance existing applications by rewriting or modifying code structures to improve performance and efficiency.

  • Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

  • Test and deploy new features and updates to optimize application functionality.

  • Provide technical support for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

  • Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

  • Create and maintain application architecture, specifications, and user interfaces.

  • Innovate and implement best practices for security and development methodologies.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate aligned with industry standards, supported by a six-month initial contract with the potential for extension. Note : This position requires on-site work at the Iselin, NJ office. Candidates local to NY/NJ is a requirement.
