Working hours are 8am - 11am or 8am - 10:15am, totally 16 hours per week.

Please note, we are flexible as to whether these hours are worked over 4 or 5 days.

We are currently seeking a Handyman / Handywoman to join our Facilities team to ensure our Wolverhampton site is well maintained, safe, and welcoming for all employee and visitors to site.

• Conduct daily maintenance and repair work as and when required

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance works

• Ensuring the building is in good decorative order, conducting minor decorating tasks where applicable

• Carry out basic electrical repairs

• Carry out basic plumbing and drainage repairs

• Ensuring all external areas and grounds are kept tidy and well maintained

• Ensuring kitchen and canteen are kept tidy, well maintained and bins emptied as needed towards shift end

• General housekeeping of the Wolverhampton site

• Understanding and ensuring the implementation of the Eurofins Health and Safety policy, Emergency and Fire Procedures.

• Completing relevant paperwork for all works

• Proven experience within a maintenance role.

• Basic carpentry, building, plumbing & electrical skills are preferred.

• Good communication skills, and able to deal professionally with people across the site

• Able to work on own initiative, prioritising work based on urgency level of work

• Able to work in line with Health, safety and safe system of work practices

• Willing to be flexible to complete the broad range of work required across the site

• Hardworking and reliable
