Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in Woburn, Massachusetts, United States. The selected individual will be instrumental in providing legal and administrative support to our team, with a focus on real estate transactions and regulatory compliance programs. The role involves handling transactional and compliance matters, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and partnering with various departments to ensure smooth operation.
Responsibilities:
• Execute, prepare, and administer legal documents while ensuring their accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain and update legal databases, ensuring all information is current and accurate
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and compile data to assist with due diligence
• Coordinate with department attorneys and internal business clients to track and resolve legal matters
• Draft legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision and ensure their proper integration and payment
• Handle day-to-day issues related to pending litigation or other projects, providing timely solutions
• Assist in the review, processing, and drafting of documents with a keen attention to detail
• Provide administrative support, including creating files, scanning documents, mailing, and emailing documents
• Notarize and/or witness documents executed
• Perform other duties as assigned, adjusting to shifts in accordance with department priorities. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry tasks and Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrable experience in Operations and Compliance
• Familiarity with Payment Processing procedures
• Strong research skills and experience in Materials Handling
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and other database systems
• Experience in contract review and supervision of various tasks
• Comfortable with website navigation and digital correspondence
• Negotiation skills and experience in Filing important documents
• Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to perform Data Analysis
• Knowledge of Real Estate laws and regulations
• Experience in Scanning Documents and using Microsoft Office Suites
• Proven ability to Prioritize tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with Compliance Functions in a legal environment
• Ability to handle Legal Documentation and perform Due Diligence tasks as required
