Robert Half Paralegal in Woburn, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in Woburn, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will be a crucial part of our legal department, primarily working with real estate transactions. This role involves assisting with legal and administrative matters, focusing on regulatory compliance programs, and supporting attorneys in transactional and compliance issues.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the intake of new legal matters, assess the nature of the issue, and coordinate with department attorneys and internal business clients

• Support the legal team by creating files, scanning documents, and sending documents via mail and email

• Draft legal documents and correspondence under the supervision of attorneys

• Review, abstract, and follow-up on legal documents to ensure proper integration and payment

• Conduct legal research, compile and analyze data, and assist with fact-finding initiatives

• Address day-to-day issues related to pending litigation or other projects

• Witness and/or notarize documents executed on behalf of the company

• Perform other duties as assigned by the department. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in operations and payment processing

• Ability to conduct thorough research and data analysis

• Experience in materials handling

• Capable of reviewing and managing databases

• Knowledge of contracts and legal documentation

• Supervisory skills and experience

• Proficiency in managing correspondence

• Negotiation skills and experience

• Proficiency in filing, scanning, and managing documents

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge and experience in real estate

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Familiarity with compliance functions

• Experience in due diligence

• Understanding of basic principles related to the role

• Proficiency in conducting legal research

• Experience in drafting legal documents
